Salam dear friends,

This journal is dedicated to everyone that have opinion/experience regarding hijab in Western especially all muslimah out there :) Muslim or not, as long you have story to share, i will accept it :icongreatjobplz:

I would like to ask some helps from you to give me any information about how hijab evolve in Western. What conflict you have seen? Or how they treated you? Or any related article/link you have stumbled upon. Well, i will do my research too as well, and this is part where you are a big help for it. :D my trips to Europe not just for holiday,i also made observation of hijabees there. talk about multitasking! :XD:
You can tell story of story your mother/father/brother/sister/grandma/friends told too. I will decide later which source is reliable. For now,just share!

Why i need this help?
I choose this topic for my Global Issue class individual assignment. The lecturer really looks forward it :la: This will provide awareness of how our sisters struggling in Western to follow the guide compared to us here..which i think..struggling not to wear hijab.orz..

Hi kitty!! :D Yaa.. Currently living in UK at the moment. Actually I did face some.."conflict" due to wearing hijab. Its just the teenagers who make pranks on people who wear hijab. In my case, I was on the escalator w my sister, then there were these two boys and one girl behind me. Then I feel like someone just yanked my scarf (hijab) from behind. So I turned around, and just leave it.. Then afterwards they pull my scarf so hard, until you can see my hair. I actually scold them saying to stop doing it. But afterwards they just sneered and point at me... =_= nyeh.

apparantly i wasnt the only one, my two senior were walking across the sidewalk, suddenly someone on the bicycle yanked her hijab and ran off. :S But then again these youngster could just be bullies. :S

Oooo! and another is, well this is my friend story. Her sister was going back home using a train that night. There was also an old man there using the train. Coincidentally, both of them happen to be going back home using the same road. Lol but the man thought the hijab girl was following her, and he suddenly ran off as fast as he can. For an old man! lol! its really sad. But the thing is my sister friend is so tiny and cute. how can he so afraid of her? Ya... that's the story. :p I hope you can understand my english. hehe
